Architectural engineer and PhD in architecture, she is currently Junior assistant professor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Bologna (UNIBO), where she teaches Territorial Planning and Urban Planning Techniques. She has 7 years research experience in urban planning and sustainable development. Her research mainly concerns planning procedures for boosting urban and rural regeneration, resilience of the historic areas and energy transition. She has been working in several European projects, such as H2020 RURITAGE, H2020 SeeRRI, H2020 SHELTER, as well as Erasmus+ projects and territorial cooperation projects (under Interreg Europe and Interreg Adrion). She is member of the Board of Director of the Emilia-Romagna section of the Italian National Urban Planning Institute – INU. Author of over 20 publications.
