She holds a PhD in Sustainable Urban Development Evaluation MSc in Urban Planning, BA/MA in Architecture. She is Full Professor of Decision making for sustainable development goals and Deputy Rector of Politecnico di Torino. She is an established figure in the field of evaluating sustainable urban development for over 25 years, publishing widely in the subject area and coordinating, or serving as lead partner, in several Pan-European Projects related to Sustainable built environment, Smart Cities, Energy transition and Cultural heritage. She is Scientific coordinator of both the Green team office of Politecnico di Torino since 2015 and the Circular Economy Platform in cooperation with Environment Park. Currently, she is the President of the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable development involving 78 universities and about 500 delegates in all Italy. Several awards received for her research studies and career achievements.
