Workshop on the protection of Geoheritage

RURITAGE attracts interest of the Secretary Generals of the Ministry of Environment and of the Ministry of Tourism of Greece last Monday in Athens.

The Natural History Museum of the University of Crete and the Lesvos Geopark were invited in a workshop on the protection of Geoheritage hosted at the Ministry of Environment. C. Fassoulas from the University of Crete presented RURITAGE, through leaflet and posters, to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment Mrs Christina Mparitaki. Together with Prof N. Zouros from Lesvos Geopark, they presented RURITAGE to all participants of the workshop. The Secretary General of Tourism, Mr G. Tziallas, was much impressed by the logo of RURITAGE and its objectives!
